Gerald C. Rivers is a naturally talented and classically trained Shakespearean Actor, Voiceover Artist, Inspirational Speaker and Master West African Drummer and teacher. He is known for his voice over work in cartoons, animated feature films, internet series, internationally popular video games, and radio & television commercials and campaigns. Gerald is also the founder and Executive Director of Message Media Group a multi media edutainment company, provideing presentations and workshops to all age groups.

 

Gerald’s greatest vocal recognition and accolades come from his work as the voice of the late, great civil rights leader, Rev., Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Mr. Rivers is in constant demand to share the words of Dr. King’s timeless message. His renditions in schools, churches, prisons, hospitals, synagogues, temples, homeless shelters, hospitals, rehab centers, senior citizen centers and corporations have taken him throughout the US and around the world! Gerald was invited to speak at the dedication of the King memorial in Washington D.C. And the Center for the Advancement of Nonviolence recognized Gerald’s work when they bestowed upon him their Season for Non-Violence, Local Hero Award.
